Seeking contract or permanent assignments in training and/or curriculum development and design. Substantial experience in training individuals in software and database development and system administration, in software design and architecture, management of software development teams. Solid background in start-up and turnaround of information technology. Heavy interactive web and software development experience. SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Trained students in the use of applications such as Microsoft Office and in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, XML, and Visual Basic, in web design with such tools as Websphere, Weblogic, Visual Age, Visual Café, JBuilder, Cold Fusion and JDeveloper, in databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Access, and in IT Management. Certified as an Oracle instructor. Developed curriculum for both college and corporate training courses using such tools as WebCT, Toolbook Instructor, Authorware, Flash, Director, and Powerpoint. Verizon, Inc., Tampa, Florida (through Compuware, Inc.) Developer Architect, September 2001 – March 2002

Architected and developed enterprise-level web-based system allowing telecommunications companies to access services provided by Verizon. Developed system using JavaServer Pages, Servlets, JavaMail, JMS, JNDI, and other J2EE-level Java-based technologies. Assisted in development of an Oracle data warehousing system that accessed and moved hundreds of thousands of records per night. Developed several database accessing schemes which ran on iPlanet. Interfaced legacy Perl and other CGI applications with newer, J2EE-based application frameworks.

Sterling Research, Inc., , St. Petersburg, Florida Developer Architect and Lead, June 2001 – September 2001

Designed, architected and developed multi-tier data transformation and warehousing system using COM+, Visual Basic, and Visual C++. Developed font-end GUI as well as back end SQL Server system. Acted as DBA. Implemented DTS system between such systems as Informix, Access, and Excel to SQL Server. Created multi-tier system implementing COM+ and DCOM system.

Tactical Advantage, Inc., St. Petersburg, Florida Developer Lead, 1999 – April, 2001

Assisted outside clients with software and database development and implementation using Cold Fusion, Java, Visual Basic, and C++. Developed applications which automated small offices’ IT needs.
