Seeking contract or permanent assignments in training and/or curriculum development and design. Substantial experience in training individuals in software and database development and system administration, in software design and architecture, management of software development teams. Solid background in start-up and turnaround of information technology. Heavy interactive web and software development experience. Verizon, Inc., Tampa, Florida (through Compuware, Inc.) Developer Architect, September 2001 – March 2002
Architected and developed enterprise-level web-based system allowing telecommunications companies to access services provided by Verizon. Developed system using JavaServer Pages, Servlets, JavaMail, JMS, JNDI, and other J2EE-level Java-based technologies. Assisted in development of an Oracle data warehousing system that accessed and moved hundreds of thousands of records per night. Developed several database accessing schemes which ran on iPlanet. Interfaced legacy Perl and other CGI applications with newer, J2EE-based application frameworks.

Designed, architected and developed multi-tier data transformation and warehousing system using COM+, Visual Basic, and Visual C++. Developed font-end GUI as well as back end SQL Server system. Acted as DBA. Implemented DTS system between such systems as Informix, Access, and Excel to SQL Server. Created multi-tier system implementing COM+ and DCOM system.
